Colour Therapy

Colours affect people’s behaviour and health, and have healing qualities that can be used as a catalyst for change. Children are very sensitive to colour and by understanding the universal action and quality of each colour vibration, colours can be manipulated to enhance the quality of life for your child.

“How I feel about myself is more important than how I look. Feeling confident, being comfortable in your own skin – that’s what really makes you beautiful”. – Ellen Degeneres

Every child should feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. With this in mind, every child has a particular combination of physical features , that being hair, eyes and skin colouring . . . all of which embody certain personality traits, needs (physical, emotional and spiritual) and other areas of importance relevant to their development at that particular moment. This is called their Colour Identity which, as they grow older, may change as their physical features change.

Furthermore, each colour of your child’s choice, during their Assessment with Helen, reveals an aspect of their inner state and personal situation that may not be apparent. This significant information will give your child the confidence to understand, accept as well as enhance who they are.

Knowing your child’s Colour Identity, favourite and least favourite colours (all of which can also be used as indicators to your child’s potential and innate abilities, their core values and view of the world) allows you to provide the right colours to support them at that stage of their development. Introducing combinations of colour in their bedroom, clothes and food will lift negative moods as well as transform behaviour to promote inner healing.
